Andrew, I am interested in finding out what your problem is too. I have an 1980 900 GLi that makes a thudding sound when making tight turns at low speeds. Rather annoying, wonder if it could be the Steering Rack? Heard lots of people have had problems with them? Any ideas out there? I am a "new" Saab owner and could use some help on this too.
