Your direct ignition cassette is likely failing. Each of the coils over the plugs is oil cooled. The cracks allow the cooling oil to leak out, causing the cassette to fail. Spark might be getting out and shorting to engine ground, potentially causing the miss? Might be time to haul the car in for service, and get definitive answers, sad to say. Oh yeah, the DI cassette replacement is even more pricey than the APC solenoid. Plan on spending $400 for the replacement cassette. One fix I've heard of being done on a temporary basis involves injecting mineral oil into each of the coils, then coating each coil, especially where you've put oil in, with RTV silicone sealer. Good luck! Paul
