Subject: Re: 9000 Turbo / APC Problem

On my '86 9KT, the turbo boost gauge sits just past midway into the green at idle. At full boost, it will just barely touch the red, and under vacuum it will drop just to the bottom of the green. For a while, the boost gauge did sit right between the green and yellow, but this was the result of a bad bypass valve. Replacing the valve fixed the boost characteristics. I'm not saying you have a bad bypass valve, since calibration of the boost gauge seems to vary a bit from car to car, but this was my experience. -Doug david forrest wrote: > >I have a 1990 9000 2.0 Turbo. >Could someone please tell me where the Turbo/APC guage should be when the >engine is idling.
