Same thing happened on my '84 900. The very easiest/least expensive way to fix this is go get the whole assembly (including motor) out of a boneyard. Just about any year 900/900S/900T will work. The whole thing bolts on & off fairly simply. I think I paid around $15.00 for the whole thing (including the wiper arms which I didn't even use). I didn't bother to price it out with new parts but I bet it would be more then that. Also it looked like changing the whole assembly was the way to go. This unit is an easy find in the yard. If I can help you at all or if you can't locate one let me know, there were several of these last time I was at the boneyard. -----> Please drop 'dead' to e-mail <----- Steve Eifert wrote in message ... >Saab 900 Turbo 1989 > >Problem: While driving in the rain (no kidding) my drivers side wiper >stopped working.
