If you are in the DC Metro area, you may want to call API, (410) 551-1400. I was talking with one of the Saabtechs, Kevin, a couple of weeks ago. They have a solution to the cold start problem. My 87 9000S 5 spd, 162,300 miles, has the cold start problem too in moderate weather. In really cold weather, there is no problem. Aaron, check your vaccum lines to your throttle body. I replaced one from the valve cover to the throttle body the other day during an oil and filter change. Later that day I looked closer at the hose coming directly out of the top of the throttle body. It looked okay, but it was dry, brittle and not hold well. I replaced the bad piece and there is a noticeable difference. The engine is smoother and it does not stumble so badly during cold starts during moderate weather. Ken Washington 87 9000S 87 900S 83 900T
