Let the car warm up for a minute before driving it in cold weather. Nothing makes me cringe more than seeing someone start their car, put it in gear, and drive off in less than 5 seconds in sub-zero temperature! Just do the required maintenance. Wash the car often and wax it a couple/few times a year. And give it a hug before parking it for the night! ;) Er, OK maybe I'm the only one that does that. You can find a dashboard cover, and other nice stuff for your Saab at: www.sasab.com Plus they have a picture of an SPG on their home page. Enjoy your Saab.
