I'm the new owner of a 1 owner 1996 Saab 900SE. It's a turbo 4. I'm new to the Saab world and this car was meticulously cared for. All records and all receipts for tires, oil, etc... I have 2 questions: Do all Saabs make the catylitic converter sulfer smell often? Mine does. Every time I pull into the garage it smells like eggs. The car performs well otherwise. Second question: After city driving for about 30-45 minutes, I pulled up to a light and heard a clicking sound coming from near the right front(passenger) side. After opening the hood it sounded more like an electronic relay type click coming from near the right headlight assembly, maybe a little further back. It clicked (loudly) about 20-25 times- very uneven tempo- and then went away. It's electronic-definetly- not a valve or mechanical sound. Since that day it has done this on 2 occasions- It starts after idling for 10-15 seconds--both times while idling- never driving, and goes away in less than a minute. Ideas? It isn't reproduceable on demand so my dealer thinks I'm high. These are the only 2 concerns I have after 2 months of ownership. I really love the car. Thanks for the help on these matters.
