Mobil 1, Valvoline, Castrol, Red Line all make good Synthetics IMHO. Many others out there. It's probably more important to choose the proper viscosity to get good startup/cold running protection, again IMHO. I've wondered about the Mobil 1 0W30 for cold weather. Any opinions out there? Pete
