If it's "grinding," I suspect he did NOT do one or more of the following (ALL of which should be done with a clutch job: Replace "spigot" bearing in center of flywheel Replace throwout bearing Replace pressure plate (as well as clutch disk) Resurface flywheel Rebuild master cylinder (as well as slave cylinder) The price you paid was too little for all that, given current shop rates and parts prices. --------------------- John R.
