I've got an '87 900 (base model) that has been very good for as long as I've had it. Now I've developed some problems and am hoping anyone here knows what the diagnoses are and if any of the problems are related. Very noticably, as I got in the car to go to lunch today, the inside of the windshield was so covered in condensation, it took a towel to wipe it off. It wasn't just a little misty, it was covered in thick condensation. This has never happened before. What's wrong? Then, within the last week, it's started running very rough on start up and is a bit noisy during acceleration. I haven't looked at it yet, but I suspect maybe the bolts on the exhaust manifold have started coming loose. Anyone care to confirm? Then, just an annoyance, the central locking system decides to work arbitrarily. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, with no discernable pattern. Any help would be very much appreciated.
