Subject: 86 9000t wheels, signals and whine

I just bought an 86 9000t with a bunch of miles on it and I have some questions I am hoping someone can help me out with. 1) The turn signals and hazards do not work at all. The fuse is fine and when I move the stalk I can hear a click form behind the dash like they are going to work but then nothing. Any ideas? 2) The previous owner installed 16" rims with 255/50 sized tires. The tires rub on hard turns (expected) but also seem to bottom on hard bumps. Is this combination just too large for the car or is there something wrong with the suspension? 3) There is a constant whine when the car is in motion which seems to lessen as the revs increase. Is my tranny (5 spd) toast? turbo? -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own
