Sven, You should not have to remove the throttle body to clean it and the throttle plate. When I clean my 87 9000S, I simply loosen the clamp holding the rubber air supply boot in place. If you pull that off, all you should need is a can of Berryman B-12 Carb and Choke cleaner, a couple of rags and an old tooth brush should put you in good shape. As for the heater core, someone on the www.saabnet.com Bulletin Board mentioned a temporary fix with alumaseal. The longer you wait to replace it the more damage you may do.
