The hot air from side vents sounds like a bad heater core. I had the same problem with an 86'. It is located under the dash on the drivers side. The blower control has a maximum setting, where the fan blows full speed - this is normal. Cruise control: I would suggest looking around the engine comparment and accelerator for bad vacuum hoses. 90% of time no cruise = bad vacuum. Can you hear the pump for the washer fluid? bigfoot wrote in message <79v01b$m7a$1nopsamprod.itd.earthlink.net>... >I have an 85 900 turbo that has given me 146K trouble free miles.
