If replacement is necessary, who is reputable for > Used/Aftermarket/rebuilt parts? Well once you drive a Turbo Saab it will be hard to go to a Saab without one. I am not saying that the non-turbo's are inferior, however, they obviously lack the power of their turbo counterparts. With an "S" model there is little difference from a Turbo other than the power. It will give you all of the other goodies, Power, Air, Cruse, Alloy Wheels, etc... As far as the turbo life you should expect to get between 150K-250K out of the turbo itself, and cartridges can be had for as little as $ 379.00 through Trollhattan... > > > 2. I do know Volvos can go forever, so.....Any Saab stories? > (bad pun I'm sure you've all heard) We have several customers with Saab's well over 250K. I have 2 900's of my own with close to 300K on each. Your concerns should be the transmissions either automatic or manual if they have more than 150K and have not already been replaced. another option would be to buy a 9000 in need of a transmission cheep $ 1000 - $ 2500 and replace the transmission. We have several sources for transmissions... > > > 4.If you could ask a seller five questions, what would they be??? 1. Why selling? 2. Has transmission been replaced? 3. If so rebuilt by who, or used? 4. Has she been in an accident? 5. Can I have my mechanic look her over before I purchase? If no Walk Away, unless it a give away, oe parts car... > > > Sorry if this is a little too wordy, but I'm trying to get as much feedback as > possible.
