I'm sort of at a loss here . . . About half the time my 1988 Saab 9000 turbo starts right up with no problems. The other times it doesn't even make a sound when I turn the key. Sometimes it will start then after I turn the key a half-dozen times or so and other times it will still not start after I turn the key 20 or 30 times. At first I thought it was the battery and the battery did turn out to be bad. However, after I replaced the battery, it started happening again. Is it the starter? Or does the battery just not have enough "oomph" to get the starter going? (It is rated at 650 cca at 0 F and 800 cca at 32 F; it has seldom been below 30 F this winter here.) Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
