However if you go down to Halfords and check out the prices you are in for a shock. Mobil 1 will set you back £30. Almost every other synthetic oil can be found for far less. On saturday I bought 5 litres of fully synthetic valvoline for £18. Thats one hell of a cost difference! I am very synical of Mobils marketing. They blitz you with stupid adverts in an attempt to convince everyone that their oils are the best thing since sliced bread. Think carefully about what you are actually paying for when you slap down 30 sobs on the counter.
