I've only put 3500 miles on my pretty-much-base 3-door since I picked it up 6 weeks ago, but it's great. NOT dull like the Toyota, Honda, Oldsmobile, Chrysler... :) I don't think you'll have reliability problems with the Saab. If you do, though, they should show up fairly immediately. I know that isn't much consolation, but the same will be true of the Camry. Camrys are perfectly capable transportation (as you well know), but they aren't fun like Saabs. And, I've never thought any Toyotas I've had or driven recently were any more reliable than most any car I've had (except my Alfa).
