Subject: Re: Ecopower v-6 technical information; where?

Well, actually the first guy was correct. The Turbo is part of the exhaust manifold of the front cylinder bank. It then feeds the intake plenum for all six cylinders. Apparently it only applies .25 bar, which is relatively lite pressure, but also allows them to use a really small turbo which spools up really quickly, and allows for the plateu of torque from something like 2200 to 5000 rpm! The reason I am looking for information about that engine is that I have a Volkswagen GTI-VR6, and I am looking into implementing something similar on my engine. My reasoning is that by increasing torque down low in the power band and not drastically increasing horsepower, I would basically not effect the reliability of the engine, and I would also not have to add aditional fuel delivery capacity to the engine, since the peak power wouldn't be going up drastically. I just want to be able to get on the gas at any RPM and _go_now_!
