Hey everyone I don't own a Saab but I was in one in a wreck! And I have to tell you I'm glad I was in that car as opposed to my car (a Pontiac Bonneyville). The young lady that was driving who shall remain nameless saw fit to see if her 1999 Saab 93 could fly with me as her co-pilot. We flew off of the road about twenty five feet into a drainage ditch that was at least 10 feet deep. To get to this spot we had to shear off about 4 or 5 small trees and we finally came to a stop with the front off the car firmly wedged into a drain culvert. We both had our seat belts on and we fine except for tender ribs from the sudden 50mph stop into the ditch. All 4 airbags deployed (which are a lovely shade of pink in case you didn't know that! :-) Well I guess I just wanted to write this group to tell you that not only are Saab's cool cars but they are very safe. If I ever have to fly again I'd say I'd like to fly Saab air. But it was a shame to see the car "parked" like that. Oh well have fun!
