As I understand it. It is cheaper to ship east then to ship west. Has to do with the traffic coming from California. If you want an enclosed carrier: Intercity Lines or Horseless Carriage If you can deal with a regular car carrier (i.e. cheaper): i believe their name is midwestern. -gabe alex writes: <<a friend of mine had a mercedes shipped from CA to OH with horseless carriage. i think it took about a week or two fot them to pick the car up in CA and deliver it to OH. they had a bunch of ferraris and porsches in the truck too(which they had to unload cuz the benz was in front). its not too expensive as i recall around $500. they covered the car and put it in an enclosed trailor. a true class act delivery.>>
