<!doctype html public "-//w3c//dtd html 4.0 transitional//en"> <html> since apparently there are no reliable SAAB mechanics in the immediate San Francisco area i need to take my 85 900t to a non-saab mechanic. he's very good, just doesn't know the intricacies of saabs. <p>my problem is a "bottoming out" type sound comes from the front wheels (mostly left) when going over bumps or turning. it is also harder to steer now when turning right, esp. when from cold start. <p>based on excellent info from this NG (thank you all), i think i need: <p>- front ball joints <br>- front CV joints <p>my question. how much should a repair like this run? just a rough estimate. think i'm missing anything? thanks in advance again for any assistance. <p>Trollhattan - can i have my mechanic order parts from you instead of the dealer, as he has had to do before. i will contact you via private msg on this as well. <p>rgds <br>joel <br> </html>
