In light of all the things checked, have you cleaned your Throttle Body and Throttle Plate Assembly. I recommend Berryman B-12 Carb and Choke Cleaner. It will cut through the build up and leaves no residue. You might even try a can of the B-12 Chemtool in your fuel tank. It helps smooth my 87 9000S out, just as it did my 87 900S and 83 900T. As for the spark plugs. I used Bosch Platinums in all three of my Saabs without a problem. You just have to get the right plug and use the right gap. My 83 900T came from the factory gapped at .026. I now use a gap of .028 in my 87 9000S. Ken Washington 87 9000S 87 900S 83 900T
