My '85 Turbo 16 manual 5 speed doesn't do this. Although I think all early
turbo cars do occasionaly display this characteristic when being driven
gently. Mine has done it. Or rather I can get it do it. Not quite sure what
I do to avoid it...I've just learnt to drive in a way which prevents it
happening. The early 9000 turbos are known for being lumpy in traffic
apparently...
