Mike: I just made an appontment to get mine repaired . I have a sun roof on my 86 900 turbo as I do believe you would with the SPG/ regardless, I was quoted a price of $375 Maximum to do mine. I have an appointment on Monday March 8 1999. And it'sll be don e by the end of the day. Head liners are a notorious problem with the car. I highly suggest you don't let that bother you about the car. I've only brought my Saab in for a major service one time since I had it. I'm driving a car tha t runs as good as the day I bought it and it had 237,000 miles on it. O only recently replaced the front rotors for the first time. I am still driving with the original Clutch and I live in San Fancisco, (i can't imagin anyplace that would be tougher on a clutch. My sercret is, I've had it from the brand new and the car has has it's oil changed religiously every 2000 miles. They're great cars. Good luck! They're called the Franzini Brothers and they're located in San Rafael California. I'm not sure where you are but if you're close, you may want to get it done by them because of their experience.
