Subject: mysterious relay clicking in passenger door



I have an '86 900s. It runs great, but I sometime hear this mysterious
clicking in the passenger door (sounds like a relay or circuit breaker)
When the 'relay' clicks on (i guess) the lights slightly dim
(headlights, etc.) and the engine revs drop about 50 rpm (at idle). This
clicking usually happens when the engine is cold (cold outside)
