I'd change it with the standard PS fluid, and get out as much of the old gray stuff as possible. Then I'd go ahead and use AMSOIL synhetic ATF (exceeds the GM PS specs). Of course, new fluid isn't going to replace any missing metal--so it may be an excercise in futility. The teflon seals in the GM racks are harder than the aluminum, so guess which wears? This leads to a common problem called "morning sickness". About the only sure cure is replacement. Dick in Falls Church, VA
