Subject: 1989 900 Turbo 16V Fuel Grade?



I am currently using regular (premium) unleaded fuel here in the UK. This is
what it has always been filled with during it's 120K life.   I believe that
better performance can be achieved from using a higher octance fuel "super
unleaded".  Anyone got any experience with this?

I am currently getting a VERY steady 24-25 mpg now matter how I drive it.
Is this normal.  I read on the group you could get better mpg from going up
to super?  Is this true?
