If you invest in dealer maintenance, expect $500 for the 30,000 mile-checks. Beyond that, routine preventive maintenance like oil changes are all you should expect. I have an '82 900 Turbo. I spent $1200 3 years ago, and have put 1 clutch, 2 water pumps and a heater valve on it in the past -- a LOT less than $1000/year! I also have a '98 900 Turbo, and have had to do nothing but bring it in for scheduled service. The transmissions in the New Generation ('94+) 900s are completely different from the old ones. --------------------- John R.
