I was first offered a base 9-5 loaner with leather, heated seats, automatic, sunroof, with 7,092 miles for $31,293 ($1,000 below the invoice price of the car new), which I didn't think was too hot since the Saab 9000 from a year ago has lost $8,000 in value. I was then quoted a price of 32,995 for a new base 9-5 with leather, heated seats, sunroof, automatic. Then I stumbled on a new 9-5 SE with heated, ventilated seats, automatic transmission for $32,907. For comparison, here are the invoice prices from autosite: Base $31,473 Heated seats $447 Ventilated seats $796 Automatic $989 Destination charge $575 Total: $34,280 Larry Kohut wrote: > > How much did you end up paying? > David Nedde wrote in message <36F70F5E.71759CD8nopsamtwall.mv.com>... > >I bought a Saab 9-5 this weekend, and thought others might be interested > >in the thought process behind the decision. > > [...] > > > >I ended up getting the 9-5 SE with heated and ventilated seats with > >memory and automatic transmission.
