The 9-5 came out on top. The 9-5 has received some nice awards like best car in the $35- 40 k range by AAA and best import car by the german version of Auto Motor & Sport. It's also on Edmunds most wanted list (together with some Audis). Though I must say I have seen some other tests where the A6 beats the 9-5. I guess they are in the same class, the 9-5 better in some senses and the A6 in some others. An interesting thing is that Volkswagen in Sweden was sued today because poor brakes on some Audis. /Leif
