There are several folks on Turbo! who have done this kind of swap/installation who could give you ideas on it (difficulty, cost, etc.). It' s my understanding that rebuilding is a time-consuming, exacting process, thus the 60-hour labor figure. I suggest looking at http://www.townsendimports.com and see if there's anything there, or posting to the appropriate bulletin board on http://www.saabnet.com and see what kind of feedback you get. I also think that the "could go another 40K" is WAY optimistic on the dealer's part. Hope this helped. No matter what, you're into it a good 4 figures.
