Subject: Tools needed for Oil Seal and o-ring replacement

Hi, I am about to embark on a journey to no-leak-dom, i.e., replacing the oil pump o-ring and seal on my '87 900T. Any advice? Is this really a do it yourself job? It looks awful tight. How long does it take? Can anyone recommend any tool I HAVE to have to get this done right (please be specific!). What size is the nut on the pulley? Where should I get the gear puller? Should I remove the steering rack? Etc. ANY advice is appreciated. I apologize if this has been posted recently, but my news group isn't grabbing more than 200 messages... Thank you in advance. Jason
