Subject: Re: Saab 9-3 or a BMW 328i

I considered both of these cars earlier this year, prior to deciding on the Saab 9-5. The problem I have comparing a 9-3 to a 328i is if you equip the 328i with the same equipment as the 9-3, the BMW costs about $10,000 more. From my experience, when you compare vehicles, it's wise to compare ones that are priced similarly. Therefore, I think if you want to compare a 9-3 against a BMW, compare it against the 323i. When you load the 323i up with all the options, the sticker price will be similar to the 9-3 (probably a bit more). Then I think you can make a valid comparison.
