I also have the pilot series tires on a Saab 9000 CS and talked 
to Michelin about the tire. I was experiencing a lot of tar strip 
noise and they said that it was because the Pilot series was a 
performance tire--in fact their best. They also advised that the 
models that came with that year Saab were nor t\rated as 4 
season-only three season--take your pick as long as winter isn't 
one of the picks.
