I find the discussion about rallye not intresting. You cannot compare BMW with SAAB on that issue because Saab is a small factory and BMW isn't. Meaning before all the BMW-drivers start mailing back insulting and intimidating mails that a big factory (and this is again not an insult but a fact) can put a lot more money in sport than a small one. No one can say that Saab hasn't produced amazing cars comparing with the small budget they had. Their turbo's are know throughout the whole world and every car lover has to admit that Saab is superior concerning turbo-application in serial models (and not some tuned Porsche on which you have to replace the tires every week if you have to do a few stoplights). BMW has a sportier image, a lot of their models are loosing to a Saab 900 Turbo 16v (Aero or SPG). The M3 is not comparable with any of these models (it has 100 hp plus). If you see the 9-3 Viggen maybe if they adjust it some more it can compeet with the M3 but not now. Before one complains about comparing you'd better read the previous two sentences. No bullshit, for a 4 cylinder the Saab turbo is amazing. The six-cylinder 328i is a great to drive with. Johan. Saab 83 900 GLi Saab 94 9000 CS (previous Saab 900 Turbo 8-valve) Saab 94 9000 CSE (previous Saab 900 Turbo 16 valve aero)
