I'm looking for a 900 but I don't know > which model DIDN'T have the Turbocharger. I don't want one! > We have a 900i -88 as our second car. Why -88? I had the 88 as a criteria because that was the year they made some changes in the gear box and brakes. I did not search for a 16v engine because i've heard that the older 8v construction would last a lot longer. To change motor oils every 7 tkm will make the engine last long. Also the gearbox will require an oil change every 100 tkm. Oil is cheap: especially when the engine lasts longer and takes less petrol, which is good for the environment too. At least here in scandinavia the spare parts are cheap and easy to come over. Our car has now run 270 thousand km with no real engine problems. Only the glutch has been replaced. Regards, KL
