My '94 sprouted a heater hose leak last month. The dealer charged 2 hours
labor to replace it, as a bunch of disassembly was needed to get at the
firewall end. That would have been bad enough. But since then, the idle
(when in drive) goes up & down quite a lot, I estimate 600 to 1000 rpm every
2 seconds, and it has stalled out a few times. I dried the exposed
secondary wires immediately after the incident, and cleaned inside the
distributor cap last week. Any other ideas? I don't see any obvious
connections they forgot to put back together.
