Hi Well it's not cutting out on hills anymore, fitted a new fuel pump and added an inline fuel filter. I'm still having some probs though. Everything was fine for a while, but recently I've experienced severe bucking, especially on right hand corners, when the cars been sitting (hot) for around 5 minutes. I was thinking I had a vapour lock problem, but I've noticed fuel driping from the carb vent valve and also a fair bit in the air cleaner. Could this be a damaged float or incorrect level? It has the Zenith 175CD carb. Another thing, on my '84 900 and '83 99 I noticed the cooling fan could run on independent of the ignition, but this '81 99's goes off with the ignition off, is this normal? If so, why did Saab make the change? Chris
