I don't know what it is like with the new system (not Option 1) but do know that not all dealers will make a deal & those that do - well better get 2 prices from different dealers. I do remember it being better than 5% off dealer cost. But then "dealer cost" is kinda a nebulous idea to begin with. Another idea is to also try calling the 800 number that GM gave you & ask them for a price breakdown. They don't want to give it to you, but they will. eichler.
