Subject: Re: 94 900S 2.3 stalls, idle varies

First you have to explain if your 900S is one of the last "old" or one of the first "new" body style cars! If itīs the old, classical one Iīd say itīs 99% caused by vaccuum leaks or AIC-valve problems. If itīs the new one, it could also be some "missfitted" vakkuum hoses/pipes or some other electrical problems (sensors - this could be read out) but in nearly all of the cases the engine gets the "wrong" air (leak in vakkuum hose after the air was mesured by the air mass sensor - you canīt read out that). That causes bad idling and stalling (when you release the throttle..) RCS DAVID KATZ > My '94 sprouted a heater hose leak last month.
