My '96 refused to start (or even unlock)while I was out shopping, with no warning whatsoever. Saab took it to the nearest dealer, who was very slow, and then claimed it was dry, due to poor maintenance, and wanted to charge me for a new one. The car has an unbroken record of official dealer service, so if someone was failing to check levels, it wasn't me....my normal dealer said those batteries often fail like that, they normally replace them under warranty with no questions asked....and they even reimbursed me for what I had to pay dealer 1 to get the car back! Saab national even send me a gift check later after hearing of the hassles, to compensate me for my time. -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own
