Subject: Re: THE BEST TIRES FOR SAAB?

Basic answer: Depending on your rims! (5.5 J15 ET 44mm - better not- or 6 J15 ET 33mm - yes) 205-60(!!!) 15 may scrub on the rear fenders when you use rims with less then 33mm offset (22mm the nice darkgrey/polished 3spoke 6.5x16"). On a past 88- 900 SPG 205-55-15 is no problem (also officially allowed by SAAB) with a higher limiter on the rear. Difference: little better road holding, higher tire cost, lower top speed, worse straight heading, lower aquaplaning speeds... 50 tires may be quite hard with the SPG sport suspension... Anyway, I got 205-55-15 on 6J15 on a 1993 900 turbo and itīs nice..
