Has anyone found an economical solution to the problem of cloth door panel inserts separating on 9000's? Mine began by bubbling in places several years ago, and now the glue has completely disintegrated. I can buy new one's from Saab for $170 (not acceptable) or attempt to glue new material to the panels or paint them. Has anyone tried any method other than a factory replacement? What about vinyl or leather to replace the cloth? I've been told that glue won't permanently adhere to vinyl. What about painting with krinkle, simulated leather, or other textured paint? Any help will be appreciated.
