I only purchased the suspension upgrade for the car, though, and not the ECU upgrade. I thought I'd give some initial impressions and add some information which I gathered while doing my car shopping. I drove my car for a weekend without the suspension upgrade as my dealer was not able to install it before I picked up the car. The car does not lean like the base car does. But then I drove the car after the upgrade, and what a difference. Although it is much firmer, and there is even less body lean, the ride is not jerky -- just firm. (I'm not sure, though, how firm my struts and shocks were set.) Overall, I was happy with the power of the base car, and even more so with the SE. (I have a 5 speed which has "H.O.T." engine in it.) So for now, I'll leave that be as is. I was told that if you do not punch the car constantly off the line, that there should not be a longevity issue; whereas if you are going to get to that next stop light first all the time, that's another matter. (At least that was my understanding.) During my shopping phase, I spoke with a couple Saab dealers on the west coast of the USA and they have been very impressed with the quality of Abbott's products. As for the warranty, Abbott Racing has their own warranty for their products. In addition, I have been told that if an Abbott part causes another part to fail they will cover it. Somehow, though, I am missing a copy of my warranty and need to get a hold of it. I purchased my Abbott equipment through Dan at Accelerated Response Motoring in Ontario. He was a great help and I was very pleased with his help and knowledge of the products available. I hope this helps out. Good luck. They have apparently sent new 9-3's to Abbott Racing to have mods to computer to boost turbo pressure to get claimed 250 HP. Also have lowered and stiffened suspension, nice 17" wheels and tires as well as front, rear and side air dams. Looks great, I drove one and when the turbo kicks in it takes off like a rocket. Big difference over stock 9-3. It adds about 5K Canadian Dollars to price which makes this car a great performer for a great price. Dealer is providing their own warranty since I guess the engine mods would void the Saab warranty. Any comments about these mods would be appreciated. I am concerned about premature engine and drive train wear. Can the 2.0 Saab engine handle the increased power?
