They have = apparently sent new 9-3's to Abbott Racing to have mods to computer to = boost turbo pressure to get claimed 250 HP. Also have lowered and = stiffened suspension, nice 17" wheels and tires as well as front, rear = and side air dams. Looks great, I drove one and when the turbo kicks in = it takes off like a rocket. Big difference over stock 9-3. It adds about = 5K Canadian Dollars to price which makes this car a great performer for = a great price. Dealer is providing their own warranty since I guess the = engine mods would void the Saab warranty. Any comments about these mods would be appreciated. I am concerned about = premature engine and drive train wear. Can the 2.0 Saab engine handle = the increased power?
