I hope that Mr. Goldberger will publish his email address as he takes over publication of NINES. I have wondered if there might be a place in Nines or here for discussion of problems that most of us come across. Most things I have worked out some solution for over the years but not everything. One thing I have not worked out is a reasonably easy way to replace the boot around the steering column shaft after replacing a rack. I get it eventually, but it is always a rough job, even with the knee protector out. It must be easy enough at the factory with the engine out, and easier perhaps with a helper. Does anyone have a technique for replacing this boot?
