Hi all, I'm in need of some advice. I have been told by my SAAB mechanic that I need a head gasket for my 87 900. I have oil in my radiator expansion tank. What I would like to know is, How much should this repair cost and is this something a weekend mechanic can do? Also, If I choose to repair the head gasket, what other things should I do while they are that far into the engine? The car has well over 300,000 miles on it and we have put every mile on it so we know of all the things that have happened to the car. Any other advice would be great. Thanks.
