Hey, I have an '82 900 Turbo, 5 speed. A rebuilt tranny cost me $1800 installed here in new york. The original just crapped out, the mechanic said it was putting 2 gears in at once...Well I would call Saab. I was quoted $1700 for an officially rebuilt one with a 1 or 3 year warranty. -Luis
