My '91 9KT's transaxle self-destructed at about the same mileage requiring a tow to the nearest dealer 70 miles away. In case it's of interest, the crap out came about six months after changing the fluid to Redline MTL. Since then, I've read of others who've experienced the same mysterious coincidence.
