To anyone with experience with the claptrap Bosch CIS fuel injection system: My 8 valve saab has is difficult to start warm or cold, it will catch, but I really have to feather the throttle, working my way to 2-3000 rpm before it will start to run ok. Once it is thoroughly warm, it will idle ok (a little high, around 950 rpm). Also, the idle does not adjust for ac operation, with ac on it idles < 700 rpm. Otherwise the car runs well, and only has 80,000 miles on it. Observing the the cold start injector, it does seem to spray something, my question is, how much should it be spraying, and for how long? Any help would be greatly appreciated. The dealer in my area seems to just want to go into a random parts replacing mode...........no thanks I could do that myself.........
